France, antique engraving art of "The Royal Chateau de Blois"
The Chateau de Blois, original was an etching watercolor, of one the most famous and voluminous in size and its historical associations dating back to 834!. In this depiction it reveals a military dressage/ La Brige in the courtyard, with all the pomp and circumstance surrounding the day. The detail in the mixed medium, is beyond my grasp. As it reveals through the artist eyes the history of the era it was done in. Can find no comps of something this detailed with people, animals, carriages and color, it does correlate with the work of Bernadette Loy, but can’t verify may be under matting.
